Round Table II in Dushanbe (Tajikistan)

During 29-30 November, the second Round Table was organized at Technological University of Tajikistan. This National Round Table counted also on the participation of coordinators from Russian Tajik Slavonik University and Khorog State University, together with some of their students. The aim of this even was to gather public and private institutions and créate a discussion about the needs of University students regarding training and education on Entrepreneurship and Innovation and so receive more support from the Government.

On 29 November, a conference was held and many Governmental bodies and the National Officer of Erasmus+ in Tajikistan, Ms. Zarina Nuriddinova, attended. We noticed a big commitment from the public institutions to the MIND project as they do understand the necessity of implementing Innovation and Entrepreneurship training on the higher education level and motivating young people to start their own business and, in this way, contribute to decrease the unemployment rate of Tajikistan.
The second half of the day was devoted to the presentations of the best business ideas from Tajik students, who received feedbacks from the attending professionals.

On 30 November, all teachers and students received a training on Innovation and Entrepreneurship which turned out to be a success, as a fruitful discussion raised out and many questions were asked from the audience.

Moreover, Russian Tajik Slavonik University announced that one of her students, named Nassir Zarnigor, won a national young entrepreneurs’ competition and she will travel to London to present her Busines Idea during the next phase of the event together with more young students from Europe.

Finally, the MIND team proudly inform that the MIND project was awarded the first place to the best project during the Erasmus+ Information Day in Tashkent held on November 26, 2017. For more info: http://erasmusplus.uz/news/Erasmus-Information-Day-in-Tashkent.htm.
